Communication between browser and files...

Hey there...I've run into a small problem. Obviously, I can update an HTML file (for example) and then, when I refresh my browser, I see that the change I made, reflected on the page.But, how about making a change in a browser and having that update be reflected in the HTML file (could be any file, such as CSS, LESS, SaSS, etc)?Is there any way to 'communicate' this way between on either a locally hosted, virtual server or a cloud host (that I have read/write access to?Thanks for any help you may offer!-Brianjavascript

I am not related to coding, but I was hoping to find a tutorial that explains how to code a simple signature for my email. I am aware of those tutorials that help you to include an html signature in your email, but what I am trying to learn is how to code the signature (not how to place it in my email account). Hi Folks,Since I have to do a lot of "klicking Work" with Scanned PDF, I was wondering if there is a posibility to maximum Automation.What I have to do with a scanned main document with appendices (in one document):1. OCR2. C&P a dynamic formular field out of a template named "Heute" (engl. Actions pathway generation. Best strategy?

I've been the "official photographer" for youth sports associations in my community for about 20 years. I do trading cards and other sports memorabilia and have a good relationship with the volunteers and participants.I am in the process of developing an app to take the paperwork out of the system and allow parents and players to view their photos, submit custom info (and place orders if they wish) through an online tool. The app acts as a funnel collecting input (data and photos) and disseminating production commands to programs - including Photoshop.  My goal is to take the tedium out of large volume production and allow me to focus on the fun stuff (shooting, editing and cropping). I am about 70% there and we're in Phase 1 testing of the app this season. So far - not too shabby. Collecting the data is easy. Calling an HTTPS API from JSX

Hi,I'm trying to call a HTTP API (which is mine) from InDesign. The API returns JSON and is publicly accessible over HTTPS (HTTP doesn't work!).Now i tried the GetURL functionality as described in this blogpost (Rorohiko: GetURLs.jsx - access HTTP content from InDesign ExtendScript) and the http.get() from Extendables (http: sending and receiving http requests — Extendables v0.3a documentation)With both methods HTTP calls work fine but my API requires the call to be over HTTPS and I can't seem to figure out how to do this.I tried to set the host to e.g. "Host: myendpoint.com:443" but that also doesn't work.I also have no clue what the culprit is. The Socket error (socket.error) is empty and can't seem to find any other error reporting facilities.Hope you know what the problem is and how to fix it!Thanks,Zeger

Alghorithm of comparing PDF/A

Hi there. I am looking for some algorithm of comparing PDF/A. So the task is: PDF file is created on my side signed by my certificate then it is sent to partner and signed by his certificate. So, I need to compare the content of the file (if it was not changed) so just the orginal part with first signature. Actually, I am thinking about creating  checksum (hash) of orginal part and then compare with checksum (hash) after partners' signature. So now I have two questions, Is it possible to parse the file for these parts and create the checksum after second signature to compare with the checksum I did before sending? And If the checksum wil be the same after second signature, since I see that something is written to the original part too?Thanks

Hi, Version:  Adobe Acrobat Standard DCWindows: Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bitAdobe Acrobat Config: Protected View - off, Enable Enhanced Security - offI have an WinForm application using a Web Browser control to navigate to PDF files in the local drive.  The Web Browser is embedded in a WinForm.  When I call the method Navigate(), the 'Navigation to the webpage was canceled' message appears in the web browser control and a separate Adobe Acrobat Standard DC window is popped up showing the PDF.  The same application works in Windows 10 64 bit.  Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks

Region Tag in XMP Dev Kit

I try to use the Adobe's Extensible Metadata Platform  to insert a XMP tag into a jpeg file which describes the region and name of a face. I read that Adobe uses the standard with the namespace mwg-rs:Regions. Unfortunatly i am not able to find this namespace in the supplied dev-kit.I am using the java dev kit btw.Does anyone have an example how to insert such a tag (like on Extensible Metadata Platform - Wikipedia ) into a jpeg file with the devkit?

I have a form in Acrobat DC  - the form fields feed into a data matrix barcode - when i scan the barcode it looks like this777777799999MS2334WASHER912/15/16100YesYes3Q127/18.  I need a tab between the fields so when i scan the barcode in excel they will fill in cells across a row. I need to locate source for MM_SwapImgRestore.js and other mouseover/out supporting functions.  What library are the functions resident in and where is the location of that library?  I wish to replace/modify with inhouse code.  I DO NOT have or use dreamweaver.  The site was originally written using it.  I am not sure of the version it was written in.  Currently the coding is being done in Notepad++.

Adding dynamic text on image for my website ?

I’m making a Website for users where they can create customize logos. For this I need a facility to add dynamic text from text boxes which the user will fill in and the text should then appear on the the selected image. Is there any way, say for Javascript, through which I can fulfill the above scenario? We've build a Plug-In, which is loading a production order XML and is setting the beonding box of the document opened wit SDKHelper.Now we need th signal of the hit of the File:Save menu.It seems that the ActionID of the Save-Menu is kSaveActionID.We've a MenuManager for setting a additional menu to the standard menu bar.The handling of these sub menus is working well.We'e coded a line: PMString ActionName = MenuManager->getActionName(kSaveActionID);, but ActionName is blank.Additionally we'e implemented  a further line: MenuManager->HandleMenuHit(kSaveActionID); and have added the switch case for kSaveActionID to our ActionComponent, which is handling our own ActionID's well. But the message from the kSaveActionID switch case is never shown, whwn selecting the Save-submenu from the File-Menu.How to handle  the kSaveActionID at a Plug-In?Jochen Seliger

Does anyone have a program that will export EXIF and IPTC data from the LR Catalog to another program.  Ideally, I want to import it into a FileMaker database.  Short of that into another SQLite database will be fine.Here's what I want to do.  I want to track print sales and stock licenses for images that I market (about a third of my total catalog).  I don't want to have to manually build records in the database but want to automate this by reading the data from the LR catalog in importing it.If there is no plug-in, I know that any program that can read SQLite can read the catalog.  So does anyone have a stand-alone program to capture the data?Thanks
