I need to add a dB connection to our new ColdFusion 2016 Enterprise server to an Oracle 12 dB using the service name instead of a SID.   If I put the service name into the SID field or leave the SID field blank I get an error.   Does anyone know how this is done?ORA-12505Connection refused, the specified SID (XXXXXX) was not recognized by theOracle server.

Hi,We recently upgraded our Cf version 9 to Cf 2016. CFLayout with type= "tab" used to work prior. But stopped working immediately after upgrade.Whenever user clicks on different cflayout tabs, source content is getting disappeared after fraction of seconds. If I validate the page source code using developer tools, these tabs markup (markup generated by the tab sourceurl)already exists in the markup. But something is stopping this markup from appearing in UI. Hi, when I try to compare AvgRq Time with cfstat / Performance Monitor with avg response time registered in IIS (timetaken), I found distinct averages. So, with cfstat AvgRq Time are growing slowly but never decrease or drecrease very very slowly. I could be a bug?Thanks in advance.

Hello.  We're implementing a new server.  Our current setup will only allow for CF11.  We own a CF11 license purchased from Adobe.  We need to purchase a second license.  Trying to implement CF 2016 at this stage isn't an option.  I need to purchase another CF11 Standard license.  I tried going the Adobe support and licensing route.  Both avenues refuse to sell me a CF11 license and only try to push me towards 2016.  Is there anyway to purchase a CF11 Standard license in 2017?

Hello,We're upgrading from CF8 to CF2016, and as with all big revisions leaps there are certain pain points. My current one is accessing any of our CFCs. Of course they fine work in CF8, but dropped into CF2016 suddenly they can not be found even though they are in the same folder as the web app that is calling them.Here's what I have debugged so far for one web app:1. Yes, the functions in the CFC work. I tested them with CFINVOKE.2. I've played with various paths, from the root to the specific folder. (ie cfc:webroot.next.next.etc.autosuggest)3. Hello, all,I've been handed a project - a very simple one - that involves uploading an XML document, parsing the data, and then populating a database with the results.However, what isn't simple is the XML document.  It's slightly over 3mb in size.I'm setting a variable with the XML document contents (XmlParse()), and am using (successfully, for the most part) XmlSearch() to get the data.However, I have run into a bit of a snag; and I'm not having much luck on Google.The data is for locations around the US - each location has one ID, one Name, one City, one State, one Zip code.  But each location has multiple phone numbers and email addresses.  I'm trying to parse the data in such a way as I can loop through child nodes of the main information and grab only one email address and one phone number.But no matter what I do, I cannot seem to extract a "length" or structcount of the child nodes that contain the email and phone contact information.  I have tried StructCount

Hi,System info: CF10 Update 14, Windows 2012 R2 and JDK 1.8.0_73 I tried to configure connector (AJP1.3) to use more than 256 threads using param "maxThreads", in file server.xml. Also I configure workers.properties to match values properlly. CF administrator has a handy tool in Mail to verify whether CF is connecting to the mail server (used for CFMail). I'd like to be able to this verification outside the CF Adm. template. For example, create a scheduled task to check this every so often. But, all the administrator files seem to be encrypted or something. Is there a way to view the actual cfml code on various pages?

Guys,We are integrating with a third party app which is making an HTTPRequest call to our IIS server.  Unfortunately, the process is failing on their end (which is using Ruby), because the status_code of 200 is returning as a datatype of string rather then integer.  Is there a way to configure the CFHTTP header or other processes in order to force the status_code to a datatype of integer rather then string. - ADOBE STAFF PLEASE ANSWER ASAP  - When will ColdFusion 2016 Support Windows 2016 Server?The problem seams limited to just the installer because sadly the product installs and works just fine on Windows 10.I have a $60,000.00 major production system upgrade ON-HOLD over this because our IT policies REFUSE us to install an older operating system for new deployments where the need for the windows server will outlast the life of the OS. We have had to put the vendor ON-HOLD and management is wanting answers.

I'm trying to reduce the width of the border around my cfgrid. I want a 1 px border, but the grid is showing up with a 2 or 3 px border. I tried using the style attribute, but it has no effect on the grid. In fact, I don't even see my style attribute being output anywhere in the document.When I inspect the grid, I see a div (<div id="cfgrid1283278813192"... >) that has an inline style:"width: 625px; border: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); overflow: hidden; height: 500px;"When I change this inline style, and set the border to 0, the grid renders the way I want. But I don't see a way to gain control over this inline style. It seems like my style attribute should be applied in this div.Is this broken or am I missing something?

Configuration: Coldfusion 2016 Standard 64-bit on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard - 64bit, Java 1.8.We need to create datasources to several Access databases. (Comments regarding Access not helpful; we do not control this). We do see that Access is not listed on the Systems Support Matrix, however the April 2016 post referenced below seems to indicate that connections can still be made.We have successfully created such connections in ColdFusion 11 Standard (Server 2012 R2 Standard), but so far cannot create them in Coldfusion 2016 Standard.   The error is 'The specified data source is not defined'.Have followed to the letter the solution mentioned in this post, to no avail.  Have compared the registry values for both Software/ODBC/ODBC.INI/[datasource] and Wow6432Node/ODBC/ODBC.INI/[datasource] in CF 2016 to those in CF11, no differences.Have successfully installed Ucanaccess  (jdbc driver for Access) and can connect to databases.  However, driver does not prop

Hello, all,I was just wondering if there is a way to set folder attributes using CFDIRECTORY in CF10 Server, or CF11.I'm specifically looking for a way to use CFDIRECTORY to create a folder (if it doesn't already exist) and set it so that file execution is disabled.  Set it so that all files within are strictly read/write/delete, nothing else.I notice that *nix servers can take advantage of the 'mode' attribute for CFDIRECTORY.  Very nice, sadly we are in a Windows environment, so that will do no good.V/r,^_^

I have a file uploaded to my site http://www.mysite.org/coned/media/106.mp4I looked in the folder, the file is definitely there.It's a new project, and there are only a couple of other files in the folder, one is an mp3 one is a wmv.  Both of those open.This mp4 file is giving me a 404 error.Any thoughts on why?Thanks
