ColdFusion

I have a server with an installation of ColdFusion 10 however the ODBC Services did not get installed with the initial installation. Is there a simple, manual method for installing ODBC Services without uninstalling CF and then reinstalling with that option selected? I have tried running the installation over the current one but with the Configure Installer window, it has Server Configuration greyed out as it has found a current installation. It then gives an option of either EAR file or WAR file in the JEE configuration. Not sure which to choose so that's why I ask the question of a manual install.Thanks in advance. Hello everyone, I'm trying to fix my cfchart in CF11 to look some similar like in previous CF9. I converted my .xml files and instead I use JSON to style my elements. Problem that I can not fix is cfchartseries. My data that i'm passing in my chartseries looks good, I tried to output everything on the screen before I tested my chart. In CF9 my Time records were displayed on the screen from the first value all the way up to the last value. Here is my screen shot of my chart in CF9:As you can see on the picture above all my time slots are displayed on the screen in order from the lowest to the highest. Also my record for 2015 is displayed with the bar in blue color, 2016 in pink color. Now I will show you my chart with the exact same code in CF11: You can see thatmy chart in CF11 starts with the blue bar that present year 2015 and time slot that should not be on the first spot 1415. Hi,I just installed CF 11 Developer - on Mac Yosemite. I am not having trouble starting the serverMAIN GOAL: not to have server running all the time - just be able to manually start/stop the server when needed...I went to  app>CF11>cfusion>bin >cf-standalone-startup  and double clickedthis brought up terminal - I entered main user pass then it said:You must be the root user to configure the ColdFusion to start on System boot. Start ColdFusion as "sudo ./coldfusion start" to configure.Once it has been configured, start ColdFusion as "./coldfusion start" to run ColdFusion as non-root user.logoutQ: not sure how to do this part (not a command line guy) Can anyone help with how to proceed with this?

I'm using ColdFusion 10 with Paperthin's CommonSpot CMS. The hyperlink in each of the search result page is https://devbox.mysite.com/kb/article/?title=test-article and the URLRewrite should show https://devbox.mysite.com/kb/article/test-article on the client's browser instead. I am trying to load Cf10 on a virual machine and my sys admin wants an ISO file.I have not been able to find one.Any ideas or am i chasiing a ghost?

I can't seem to determine the cause of the ClassCastException message I am getting from a web service I am calling with CF8. The message is returned from an internal WebLogic web service. For the most part it works fine but when I request something that the web service can't handle I get the ClassCastException message. I turned on SOAP logging to get the real cause of the problem but the CCE is messing up my exception handling. Any ideas what is causing this? Would upgrading to axis 1.4 help? Any help would be appreciated. Hello, all,I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue with the DBINFO tag, and I've never used it, before.Basically, we have a schema ("FC") that has many tables, one of which is called "F_COMMENTS".  In CFAdmin, the DSN is named the same as the schema.I'm using the following: <cfdbinfo type="columns" table="F_COMMENTS" datasource="FC" name="dbdata" /> The error message states that table F_COMMENTS doesn't exist.  But it does.What could be causing this erroneous message?V/r,^_^UPDATE:  I did the following: <cfdbinfo type="tables" datasource="FC" name="dbdata" /> The CFDUMP of that does show that the table "F_COMMENTS" is in the datasource.

Hi there,Just recently I've got a problem with email attachments download with CF10 & 11. Attachmentfiles field is empty, but attachments one contains file name. Code was working fine before. I am sending emails from Outlook 2002 and web interface to GoDaddy and BlueHost mail servers. Hi everyone.  I've setup my development environment to use IIS.  I can use either local i.p.'s or localhost:8500 - (regular ColdFusion).  I'm having an issue when calling any CFM file from my IIS and only in IIS.  If I go to a folder that contains an index.cfm file it will render it fine.  It's only when I actually type the index.cfm?fuseaction=xxx tht I have issues.The issue does not exist when I do the same inside localhost:800, so I know it is an IIS issue.  Does anyone have any insight on this.  I tried Googling, but none of the solutions really help me - as it does render when it is not typed - so all of the IsapiModule and CGI references appear to be in place.Thanks in advance.

I have a cfc that is exposed as a web service . However when a request from 2 different servers consume the webserice at the same time one request is dropped and the other processed. Im not sure why this happens and would really appreciate some insight Thanks!

Hi All,I am fairly new to the Adobe community though I have been the administrator for our CF10 Instances for a while and I update it every once in a while.I have been tasked by my management to seek out upgrading our CF10 environments to CF11.  We do have a yearly maintenance contract in place with Adobe for ColdFusion. Do you know if the standard maintenance contract includes free upgrades or must we purchase new versions or is each contract "unique?"Also, the environments were upgraded from CF9 to CF10 a couple years back.  When I upgrade to CF11, would I need to request a new serial number from Adobe through our software liason or would it accept our CF10 license and update it to the new one after I migrated the environment?Thanks in advance!Ben ComptonNational Security Technologies, LLCA contractor to the US Department of Energy

There is no particular pattern as to why this happens. There are two servers behind a load balancer..... We have a health check methodology that checks for a cfm page every 10 seconds. If it receives multiple 503's, users are switched over to another server.After a CF restart, things come backup normally. I created a subfolder named "extranet" and place cfm files in it. The first time I try "localhost/extranet/index.cfm" it runs with a CF error,. That's OK. I open the file in dreamweaver, correct the problem and retry. "Unable to Connect"I've worked with the security properties of "extranet" making sure my username had all privileges, but no joy.Can anyone help?
