Display result of 1st row only from a query

Hi. I have a search page that searches on a part number. It displays results into a table dynamically. The rows are ordered by a field called ECID. It's just an auto number field I have set up in Access. There are different numbers of rows that are displayed each time a search is done depending on what was searched. I would like to only show the first result for a different search I want to do. How do I do that? I don't have a cfoutput query. Instead I'm using a cfloop query. I can't remember the reason, but I think I needed to use this. I know in a cfoutput query I could use the maxrows function, but I can't use it in a cfloop query. Does anyone know how to get only the first row to display? Is there some other way to make this work? My cfloop query looks like this: <cfloop query="MainActionSearch"> Thanks.Andy

Variable output displays variable name, not value

I am having an issue where my variable output is displaying the variable name and not it's value. I am currently using a MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite. I am using ColdFusion Builder 3 to build the code and MAMP to run a local server. I have a very simple output to test whether or not I am getting correct output. syntax error after server migration

Hi,This is for a legacy site. I'm not the person who developed it and am new to Coldfusion. This is happening when doing a search query.Cold is old but running on CF9. Coldfusion 11 - Cflayout - cflayoutarea - cfinput datefield question

I am in the process of moving a ColdFusion 8 application to ColdFusion 11.In CF 8 app I  have a page with Cflayout tabs with the source defined tin the cflayoutarea tag with cfinput datefield which works perfectly showing the Datepicker when the calendar icon is clicked.Now, when I use the same app on CF 11, everything works fine except the Datepicker is not showing no matter what I do. It works if the cfinput datefield is on the first tab, but if it's on any other tab besides the first, it does not work. Anyone have any idea how to make it work? I get the following error in JavaScript:Unable to get property 'split' of undefined or null referencecfcalendar.js, line 43 character 1 LINE 43: _206=_205.SPLIT("/"); Appreciate any pointers.BTW: The datepicker cfinput datefield works fine when the field is not inside the cflayout area.

Creating HMAC Hash

After a couple fruitless hours of trying I need some help...  I'm trying to sign a URL for a REST API and, for the life of me, can't get CF to output the expected result.  The API is Aspose and the the instructions are here:http://www.aspose.com/docs/display/totalcloud/Request+FormatAccording to their example I need to hash this URL: http://api.aspose.com/1.1/storage/folder/test_folder?appSID=c821f123-1a8b-4b97-925a-9d69a6b2fcd8Using this Key: 23e9d89a967a5f18142221fa8f7cbcd0And the result should be:Z98TBrlwdtx3pTa6fWVD/Q0c2dE=According to the C# example they give the algorithm should be: HMACSHA1 and the encoding: UTF8I cannot get CF to produce this result. I've tried using the CF function hmac().#toBase64(hmac(url,key,"HMACSHA1","UTF8"))# gives me: MjYwMkQxN0EyM0IyMzkxNjNDMDU4QTQyMjc3RDgyNkMyNzM0NTA3OA==I've also tried suggestions and variations found here:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9186773/coldfusion-hmac-sha1-encryptionand Ban Nadel's Crypto.cfc.What am I missing

Oracle JDBC error No more data available to read.

Hi All,I am using Oracle connected to Coldfusion 10,0,15,292620 and suddenly I got JDBC Oracle error saying "No more data available to read".I am using Fusion Reactor and suddenly the query is taking 6844 ms from normal time about 160ms. Try for the second time and it is fine. Coldfusion 11 Developer wont work after local machine restart

I'm brand new to CF.  I've installed CF 11 Developer & attached to IIS.  I'm on a windows 7 machine.  Every time I have to restart my machine for whatever reason, the CF Administrator wont work, nor will any CFM page work.  I have to completely uninstall CF11 & then reinstall it in order for it to work again.  Any ideas or suggestions as to what might be causing this behavior?  Below is the error message I receive when I try to hit CF Administrator:HTTP Status 500 - ROOT CAUSE:type Exception reportmessage ROOT CAUSE:description The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.exceptionjavax.servlet.ServletException: ROOT CAUSE: coldfusion.server.ServiceFactory$ServiceNotAvailableException: The Monitoring service is not available. at coldfusion.server.ServiceFactory.getMonitoringService(ServiceFactory.java:223) at coldfusion.CfmServlet.service(CfmServlet.java:199) at coldfusion.bootstrap.BootstrapServlet.servic

blind sql injection vulnerability on scan

Any suggestions on how to remediate blind sql injection vulnerability?  The page in particular has no SQL at all but the finding saysUsing the GET HTTP method, Nessus found that : The following resources may be vulnerable to blind SQL injection (time based) :"The page parameter of the store.cfm CGI"store.cfm?country=0&dodaac=N&page=case_lot_dates';SELECT%20pg_sleep(3);--When I execute the code above, nothing happens but displaying of the site error page.  I don't think that I can explain it away as a "false positive".  These URL values (country, dodaac, page) are not user input.  The values are static.  I didn't know whether to try and use urlencodedformat method to eliminate it. We are using CF9 in production but going to CF11 which is in dev and test.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
