Have sourcetree open and functioning. Open CF Admin to download and install Server Update 1. As soon as I begin the update process, I noticed my sourcetree is now reporting an issue. Everything is still there. The folder, files, and .git file. I tried restarting both Sourcetree and my system.Any input would be greatly appreciated...

We're banging our heads on an issue - starting PDFg to use cfhtmltopdf - and I thought i'd post it here to see if anyone has had anything similar happen.  We're on CF2016 Standard (upgraded from CF11) on Windows 2012.  When the upgrade was done, about a year ago, we can see in the logs that the PDFg service was initially registered and working.  But, soon after, we started seeing this error message in the logs - "Error in setting up authentication for PDFg services".  We have done a lot of experimentation including observing the port activity in the background, and it just seems like CF is not really trying to enable and/or verify this service (perhaps because of an authentication issue).Anyone have any similar problems?  Any ideas what it might be?Nick

I want to query for a condition that is case specific. WHEREANTGN_CD_SHT_DESC = 'C Antigen' Is not the same as WHEREANTGN_CD_SHT_DESC = 'c Antigen' These are red blood cell antigens.  The two listed above are often referred to as big C or little c. Can case be built into a query?  The field will always have the word Antigen at the end, and the first part if not always just one letter, for instance, it might be 'Fya Antigen'.  I am accessing our lab system and have no control over that table. Thank you

I was using the event handler onRESTRequest to log any REST request in my ColdFusion 2018 application. When I decided to upgrade it to ColdFusion 2021, I've got a surprise to receive an error informing that the event handler does not exist anymore!Could someone explain me the reason that made ColdFusion creators deciding to remove that TOO IMPORTANT function for us, CFers? Are they trying to push the new ColdFusion REST Manager resource at our throat? Could they respect website manages that host their application at a shared hosting service? What are they thinking about?

Did you know that, if you create a REST Function in your CFC File that returns a variables scope (no, you are not reading stuffs; it's really that way), then you call that function using CFHTTP, you should receive a RESTful diagnosis containing all its function and parameter features? No???? So, try it!By the way, trying to do it regularly (until upgrading my website to ColdFusion 2021), I've found a tiny issue. This issue is the 'displayName' key inside the 'Metadata' key that should be corrected. At this moment, the key has been naming to 'diAplayName' instead of  'diSplayName'. Could someone correct it, please?

Hello all - We have recently moved our dev team from our olf CF10 on RHEL6 to CF2021 on RHEL8.  One bit of code we cannot seem to get to function properly is a simple barcode PDF generation.  We have stripped down a test case as barebones as possible and cannot get it to work.   We have the ttf fonts registered in CF administrator (Free 3 of 9 Extended)We created a very simple CFR file in CF Report Builder, and ticked the box to embed the fontWe call the CFR file with <cfreport template="myreport.cfr" format="pdf">The PDF is generated, however it uses a default font instead of the barcode. If we use the deprecated cfdocument or cfimage tags, the font is happily embedded or renderd, so the font appears to be registered correctly in CF admin.  Also, our cfreport code works fine in CF10. While this simple test would be quite easy to reproduce with an external linunx based PDF generation program, our actual reports are quite complex a

Hello Team, Looking for some recommendations for best path to successfully move to CF 2021 on a new Windows 2019 Server. My  new Dev/UAT and Prod CF 2021  will be up and running in parallel to our current systems until cut over due to new MYSQL and Oracle server upgrades happening as well. After a fresh install of CF 2021 Ent, is there best way to copy/export configuration settings?  From a CF tasks, I know i can copy NEO*.xml files etc. I do have detail steps from V11 perspective which I am sure still apply from IIS work/copying code base/Certificate work/CF Admin work etc. Just wondering if anyone run into any gotchas during CF2021 install/known issues?  Many thanks Jose Duenas

Recently one of my CFHTTP calls stopped working, the authentication that was working on the calling page is no longer working. I verified with the owners of the page i'm calling that nothing has changed on their end.  I did some googling and found Charlie Arehart's post about CFHTTP issue might have to do with JVM and that JVM should be updated. My ColdFusion 2016 server is on Java version 1.8.0_112 and CF Update 5.  I know both the Java and CF need to be updated, long story short, we lost our server guy and we have no one to keep on top of updates.   Based off the article, I updated the server to Java 1.8.0_281. I am creating a simple spreadsheet from a query using CF Spreadsheet functions.  Code is below.  I know we're on an ancient version.  This is not my call.  Thankfully we will finally be upgrading in a couple of months. In the field OMS Num, we have an alphanumeric value which is always 4 characters.  Some of these are dropping the last character when adding to the row.  The value itself is complete all the way up to the point of spreadsheetaddrows.  If I put anything before or after it, it works fine.  I've tried SpreadsheetFormatColumn as well to no avail. I've experimenting putting other values before the last letter and the same thing happens.  So "12345D" becomes "13245"  "863D" becomes "863".  Any clues what's happening here and how to remedy it? Data:  "OMS" field365AUA66UA74705D - Converts to 705592AUK71985A216F - Converts to 216940C335F - Converts to 335337F - Converts to 337 Code snippet<Cfset q

Hello, in the Coldfusion user documentation under enhancements for cfpdf, there is this comment:  A sample xfdf file (cf_comment3_exported.xfdf) is attached to this pdf for your reference. You can click the attachment icon on the left pane in pdf and save the file. Is there any chance of getting the cf_comment3_exported.xfdf example file?  I've been trying to work with importing comments into a pdf, but so far with no luck.

Hi there,I am new to cfftp secure="yes" and  I keep getting invalid privatekey error and couldn't find anything when I google it.  I know the key is working as I can connect using filezilla.  So I had a look at the stack trace and google Jsch invalid privatekey and bam, found out I need to convert the key to "classic" OpenSSH format as per: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53134212/invalid-privatekey-when-using-jsch Just putting this out there in case a newbie come across the same problem.

Q - My organization uses CF ORM and we are currently evaluating CF2021, contemplating an UG from CF2016, (which I understand includes an UG of Hibernate 4.2 to 5.2 in the process).While I've worked with CF for quite some time, I have not had much history with CF ORM over the years. We happen to have a legacy table named with a keyword in MS SQL Server and it apparently needs to be wrapped when CF2021 ORM performs TSQL operations. Understandable and confirmed and apparently Hibernate by default does not do so.Changing the name of the table is not a viable option at this time. How do we force Hibernate to wrap a keyword eg: [Case] ? I imagine we need eitherhibernate.globally_quoted_identifiers=true (where false is the default)and/orhibernate.auto_quote_keyword=true (where false is the default). From what I have researched, I have not been able to clarify if we need to create a .hbmxml file whereas these settings are apparently not available within ormsettings...and/or

Anyone here have any idea about how session replication communication works between CF cluster members? We just upgraded a site from CF11 to CF2021. Session replication was working in CF11. We believe we've configured it the same way in CF2021, but replication is not working. Stopping one of the two instances in our clusters results in a loss of the sticky sessions that were being routed to that instance. What I expect to happen is that if a session is bound to instance 1, and I turn off instance 1, the session is seamlessly resumed on instance 2. But instead, the session is lost and the user must log in again. The cluster has been configured using the Enterprise Manager, and Sticky Sessions and Session Replication are both enabled.I compared the server.xml files from my CF11 and CF2021 setups and I found two differences CF2021 is missing the following from its <Cluster> tag:1. <Manager notifyListenersOnReplication="true" expireSessionsOnShutdown="false" className="o

Good morning,      I have a centOS 7 server, running ColdFusion 2018 Enterprise, using Apache and using Plesk Obsidian.   I am having an issue navigating to my login page when my coldfusion files are in a certain diretory, httpdocs.  In plesk, when I create a domain, and then a subdomain and place my files in the root of the subdomain, I have no issues getting to my login page, directory: var/www/vhosts/example.com/utexample.example.com.  However, when I create a single domain, place my cfm files in the httpdocs folder within the domain created (var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs), I get an error when attempting to navigate to the website: coldfusion.runtime.TemplateNotFoundException: File not found: /loginform.cfmWorking web application: r1gup.egtyctest.comErroring out web application: utgup2.egtyctest.comI have checked all folder permissions and everything seems fine on that end.  I do have a custom server.xml file that I am using wi

We host a CF app for a department that has an image and information display on the page. The use Ajax via JS to update the image without having to re-post the entire page. On Chrome or Edge Chromium the "image" flashes each time the ajax call is made to refresh the content. It does not do this in FF. The content refreshes every 3 seconds. Hi! I'm reviving an application from nearly 20 years ago. In going through the CFML, I find that I created several queries within the Access database that I used at the time, and I used them, programatically, like tables. I have little knowledge about stored procedures, but my guess is that if I used the old query to create a stored procedure in the MySQL database, I could access it through my CFML the same way I did previously. That is, treating it like a table within CFML queries. Hello,I'm using ColdFusion Standard 11,0,05,293506 on Windows Server 2012. I get the following error message when trying to connect to a specific site over HTTPS using CFHTTP:I/O Exception: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested targetI followed a suggestion found elsewhere, where I imported the certificate into the cacerts store and that works....for one day. I've been working on this for 3 days and every day I'm back to that same error until I re-import the certificate. The certificate is supposed to be valid from 2/1/15 - 2/1/17, so I have no idea what's going on here. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.As an aside, I'm trying to do Azure AD authentication using oAuth 2.0. Just installed CF2018 server on top of IIS on Windows 10 Pro. Prior to CF install, I browsed to a page locally called test.cfm. IIS didn't know what to do with the <CFOUTPUT> tags, it just displayed them as #VariableName#. After I installed CFServer, I browsed to the same page again, and IIS should have seen the <CFOUTPUT> tag and passed it across to CF for processing, but it didn't seem to.  It just displayed it the same as before, displaying #VariableName# instead of the contents of that VariableName.  It looks almost as if CF hasn't been installed at all.  What have I done wrong? CheersRoy.

If we already have the zip install, and from CFPM we run "install all", is that the same as if we downloaded the full installer?

" apparently there are problems with lines that have overlapping cells this did not happen in CF 2011- 2016 I would like to know if someone has had the same error or if this problem has been corrected in some way.

Help would be very appreciated... I have a requirement to accept a POST parameter that is encrypted using DESede/ECB/PKCS5Padding, and decrypt that param for use in my application.  In attempting to test out this encryption and decryption, the following code was found to work successfully:<cfset theKey = generateSecretKey('DESEDE')> <cfset varString = "Testing"> <cfset encrypted=encrypt(varString, theKey, 'DESEDE','Base64')> <cfset decrypted=decrypt(encrypted, theKey, 'DESEDE','Base64')> <cfdump var="#decrypted#"> Our issue is that in the test above the key value produced appears to be plain text, but the key that we are receiving from our data sender is in a .key file, and which seems to contain binary data. Can anyone tell me how a .key file might be used to decrypt a desede encrypted file?

It downloaded a file called ColdFusion_2018_APIManager_WWEJ_linux64.binthen I ran ./[downloaded_installer_name].binThis installed stuff in my /opt/coldfusionaddonservices  There I have  Adobe_ColdFusion_2021_Add-on_Services_Install_04_29_2021_19_01_02.log*cf_app.ico*cfjetty*etc/exampleAnalysis/example-DIH/exampledocs/jre/lib/logs/modules/notice.txt*resources/solr/start.ini*start.jar*webapps/work/  1. Did I installed it correctly?2. How Do I start it now?
