Digital Editions

I am able to change my email address at Adobe.com, but cannot change it at Digital Editions.  I understand that it must first be deauthorized, but when I try to do it I get a message: unable to deauthorize now.  Try a little later.

Trying to use Adobe Digital Editions to read a library book on my iPad. I authorized the iPad and load the book. After launch I get the cover page and on the next page it crashes. I have re-installed the app and content. I also tried it on my mac. Same thing. Any page I try to go to crashes. I reckon it could be the book, but I see this issue mentioned in the forum quite a bit.

Hello!I bought an ebook from kobo.com and authorized it by computer because kobo was not on the vendor list. I then tried transferring it to my ebook reader, which Abobe Digital Editions did successfully, but I couldn't open it on the reader because it was unauthorized.At this point I contacted kobo.com support and authorized my computer and my reader using my Adobe ID, but when I tried getting the book onto the reader, I kept getting the E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER error. I also removed the .epub file from my reader. Next, I removed the ebook from ADE library on my PC to try and add it again, but this time I couldn't even add it to ADE library on my PC: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER, again.kobo.com support representative reset the DRM and I re-downloaded the .acsm file, but I still got E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER when I tried to add it to ADE library on my PC. I'm not able to open e-books. The error message that I get when I try to download is "ERROR! CHECK ACTIVATION"

I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions for Windows to access electronic library books on my Windows 10 desktop, thinking that since it's an Adobe product, it will be smooth and intuitive and work as advertised. I followed the library's How-To and selected "I want to Authorize my computer without an ID"...It worked, and I proceeded to open my ebook on my desktop. But then I discovered that Adobe Digital Editions is possibly the worst, most user-unfriendly software Adobe has ever produced. ADE can't use arrow keys to scroll, is incapable of two-page side-by-side displays, lags BADLY when scrolling or turning pages (even on a high-powered gaming desktop), and lacks continuous zoom controls that might actually make text and diagrams readable. This software is GARBAGE, the lack of tech support is worse, and Adobe should be ashamed of producing something so miserable.However, apparently I HAVE to go through ADE's DRM services before I can use any other e-reader. Which leads me to my problem...

Toujours pareil.Des solutions ? j'avoue que ça commence à m'agacer de voir la difficulté pour récupérer des livres achetés sur la fnac (je précise, je n'ai pas de kobo donc inutile de me dire d'utiliser directement kobo, ça ne marche pas).Merci pour votre aide

I cant have access to my ebook i purchased via Adobe DIgital Editions what can i do?

Help!This is very odd..I borrowed a book from the library, opened it in Adobe Digital Editions, and transferred it to my Kobo as usual.I have been happily reading the book for a week now on the Kobo, and then overnight, when I next went to read the book, I am getting an error message:"The content you are trying to view is locked.  Please use your Adobe ID to authorize your ereader with the Kobo Desktop application or Adobe Digital Editions"The book is still on my computer in the Adobe Digital Editions, and I can read it there.  It doesn't expire for another 9 days.I have tried to reload it to the Kobo - didn't work.I have logged in and out again of both ADE and Kobo - didn't work.And can't see anything in either on "authorizing the ereader".ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT I SHOULD DO??????? Thanks.

Nach dem Update verschwanden sämtliche bereits gekauften Bücher. Ich komme auch nicht mehr in die Bibliothek; die Darstellung ist eine andere. Wie kann ich meine Bücher retten?

For absolutely no reason, when I try to read a book on my kobo ereader, sometimes it tells me I cannot open the books I just borrowed at the library, it says I dont have the authorization to open it. It is completely random, with some books it works and with others it doesn't. I've tried just about everything and when my ereader has decided it doesnt want me reading that or that book, I simply have to chose another one, It will never work! It seems to me like adobe really doesn't give a shit about it's free programs and that I just have to live with a shitty program. Does someone have a better explanation?Thx!

On macOS 10.13.1 ADE 4.5.7 crashes every time after a download of a loaned ePub or PDF is complete. After a restart of ADE the loaned book/ePaper is shown as downloadable, but it crashes again after the download is complete.

I import my purchased book in my PC (Adobe digital Edition) with an unauthorized ID. How do I restore this authorization. I am getting a error message when I trying to add my ebook to Aldiko app 'google device limit reached'.

We are noticing that our installs of ADE 4.5.7 are exiting with code 1223 even though it appears that the software installed correctly.  We can manage that through CM12, but it would be nice to understand what's happening to generate that code.  I'm noticing that there are a lot of questions about 4.5.7, but all post installation which makes me go, Hmmmmmm.  Any suggestions or observations would be much appreciated.

I have Adobe Digital Editions 3.0, I cannot sync books I take out from Overdrive.  I get an error message saying there is an error with the authorization.  I have my Adobe Digital Editions authorized.  How can I fix this?  I have uninstalled Adobe Digital Editions and reinstalled with the same error message. 

Hi all,I bought some ebooks already. The recomended app is Bluefire. As the instruction after download needed a account I created it but cant authorise my Iphone with it.Does anyone have a idea how to fix that?Thanks in advance

I am using latest Adobe Digitial Edition 4.5 in my laptop operating in Windows 7 Desktop ProfessionalRecently purchased and succesfully downloaded .epub book in my ADE 4.5. I can open the e-pub book which is 458 pages I can only view about 10 pages out of 458 pages when navigating pages with Next . Table of Content , page numbers exists ok  ve complete . But when navigating pages it moves from page 4 to page 43 etc and remaining pages are not displayable. I do not et any errors Please help

Depuis que j'ai fait la mise a jour, certaines des pages de ce livre apparaissent maintenant blanche, sans rien dessus, alors qu'elles existent bel et bien dans le livre papier.Pourquoi la mise a jour à rendu mon livre comme cela. Je suis une jeune enseignante en biologie et ai absolument besoin de pouvoir imprimer les pages concernant mon chapitre de biologie traité actuellement, or, parmi ce chapitre, certaines pages apparaissent blanche. I downloaded the new Adobe Digital Reader program (4.5) recently, and I can't figure out how to transfer epub library books to my Nook.  I get messages like:  Nook is busy, file has been returned, and other messages.  I tried opening the books in Explorer, copy and pasting it to the Nook My Digital Book file, but when I attempt to open it, it flips me the the MSN homepage.Also, the ADE isn't recognizing my Nook, even though I have the authorizations.Has anyone figured out this program yet, and is it possible to revert to the earlier version of ADE?thanksLinda

I've checked my date/timezone/clocktime multiple times. It's correct, but the error keeps coming up. It won't let me bypass the authorization either. It won't let me do anything until I activate it. I even tried creating a new adobe account under a different e-mail. The same error comes up every time.Help please!
