Liebe Community, bin hier neu. Habe bisher wenig Erfahrung mit Dreamweaver bzw CSS.Ich habe eine etwas aufwendigere Vorlage kreiert. Sie lief anfänglich. Doch nun bekomme ich beim Öffnungsversuch als Template eine Fehlermeldung. Direkt öffnen geht.Ich habe da einen Fehler produziert. Wie kann ich das beheben? Es handelt sich um ein verschachteltes Format. Ich bin dankbar für jeden Tipp, den ich weiss mit meinem eingeschräkten Wissen über CSS nicht weiter. Anbei die CSS-Datei und Screenshot.Ich hoffe auf Hilfestellung - und bitte keinen blöden Kommentare. Ich ärgere mich so schon genug.DankePS. ggf den Quellcode direkt bei mir Anfordern 

I am running the latest DW 2021 on Mac OS Sequoia 15.5. I am editing pages and suddenly it stops working, then the spinning wheel of death appears and then I get the message saying that DW is unresponsive - Ignore or Force Quit.Anyone know why I might be getting this and how to stop it? I was getting this same issue before the last OS update.Thanks in advance!

My web host provider Pair Networks requires at least OpenSSH 9.0 for SFTP connections because of security problems with older versions. So far as I can tell the current Dreamweaver version 21.6 is still using OpenSSH 8.8 and therefore fails to connect. Published workarounds from Adobe only explain how to use even older versions of OpenSSH not newer ones (the current version is 10.6). This effectively makes Dreamweaver unusable for me so I suppose I shall have to end my trial and try some other editor..

I am trying to add a link in a web page to a PDF file which takes you to a particular page in the PDF file. I have followed these instructions from elsewhere on the internet and it does not to work! 😞 For example for page 4 the advice I have got is to add #page=4 to the end of the link. Thus the whole link for a file (in the same folder) which is called Script_310317.pdf would be as follows …Script_310317.pdf#page=4This should take you to page 4 of the PDF but it still just takes you to the top or page one of the file. What have I done wrong? I am using Safari.Thanks for your help,Gareth

Hello I want to move my Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to a new computer. I tried deactivating it but get a message saying I need to adjust the internet proxy setting on my computer. I've no idea what that means! Can you help? It would be much appreciated.  I also have Premiere Elements 12 and Photoshop CS3 Extended. I have the seial number of all of these.

hi, I'm trying to brush up on my Dreamweaver skills, but there's no audio on the video. My Macs audio system is functioning perfectly, so what's the issue here? Darren

I'm doing a find/replace using this regex:([A-Z]{3,4}\s\d{3}) It should match patterns like this: INFO 120 or POL 312 But is also matched "ered 300" in the string "course numbered 300 or ..."  Shouldn't [A-Z] only match uppercase letters?

If I have some navigation links within a library item and they are hyperlinks to a subfoldere.g.<a href="../example/">example </a> then Dreamweaver will rewrite this to<a href="../example">example </a> i.e. it removes the trailing space and makes the link look like it is going to a single page rather than a directory. Also if you do have a page with that name it will be loaded instead of the intended directory. Is there any way to stop this from happening? Google will see these are two separate URLs and so it is bad for SEO. I could just avoid this by linking to "../example/index.html" but that is ugly and means that any future change to, for example .php, would mean changing all the links.

Hello!Suddenly the toolbar for e.g. creating links disappeared. Can not get it back although I´ve resetted and after that reinstalled Dreamweaver 21, Windows 11.Fredrik

Running macos 15.6.1Dreamweaver 21.2Mac mini M1Last week DW began to hang, a lot. This usually occurred when Dreamweaver was launching. Adobe Support had me uninstall 21.6. They told me to install version 21.2. Now, when I try to edit css stylesheets, none of my attempts show any results. I want to widen the div containing text. I also want to slide it to the left. Am I reading the css incorrectly? Before the DW problems arose, I had been able to begin the editing I want. How can I examine the css, to find the source of this problem?

Hi everyone, For the last few years I have used templates that were designed to work in Dreamweaver. The company that I bought these templates from has gone out of business. I found another company and downloaded one of their templates today. After researching, I have realized that .lbi files - where you can edit shared files, such as navigation, seem to be exclusive to Dreamweaver specific templates. Can anyone tell me where to go to edit these things since there is no Library folder in this template? I hope this makes sense. I am learning as I go along. I appreciate your help!

Trying to make 2 css changes in this template:I want to delete the first row, and move the logo down to where I've drawn the circle;I am trying to widen content for this website. I want to move the main container farther left, and widen it to push the sider farther right.  I've been playing with the css a looong time, without any success. We would like to find a company that designs website templates that can be edited in code and design view in Dreamweaver 2021 and also, that provides support for questions that we may have as we customize the template for our clients.Would anyone have a company that they use to purchase website templates or know of one?Thank you.

In my particular case I need a javascript - but I think this would be appropriate for anyone who may want to attach (or create/insert) a new .css script as well.I'm working with a pre-set bootstrap template and making adjustments to it. In my particular case the Google Maps wasn't working so I removed it and installing a new one. I found a site that gave me one designed just for bootstrap and it gave me the HTML (which I can put anywhere) and the javascript written SEPARATELY. So what I wonder is how create a new box and then "insert" it along the horizontal  "Source Code" line? Here's a pic of the line I'm referring to: I know there is a .css "attach style sheet" located down "Tools" but the Google Map is a javascript (.js)...so in no way can be seen as an "existing .css file". I am getting the following error in 2019, 2020 and 2021 versions of Dreamweaver when starting the application.  I am on a Windows 10 plaform and have never had this issue until Friday.  I was actually in Dreamweaver 2019 working when it hung just trying to open a folder.  Since that time this is the error I get every time I attempt to open the application.  Any help would be greatly apprecatided.   

When I use Dreamweaver on Mac OS 15 and want to compile SCSS files into CSS and .map files, it doesn't work, even though the function “Automatically compile files when saving and generate source map” is enabled.I then have to disable the function, shut down Dreamweaver, restart it, and then re-enable the functions. This works until I close Dreamweaver again, and the CSS file and .map file are created.To solve this, I completely removed all Adobe programs, completely deleted the computer, and reinstalled everything, but I still have the same problem after the reinstallation.This problem occurs with the Mac and the M4 chip. Hello everyone! trying to complete exercise in Chapter 4 Dreamweaver 2022 by Jim Maivald  (preprocessors). Worked through book diligently and found a couple of my own mistakes that I made when typing! Would like to check my code against what should be correct. Can anybody point me in right direction.May be a good Idea for correct code to be available to public to check when publishing learning material, I know they do this in other books. Using Dreamweaver up-to-date issue on Windows 365.  Luvin' the software that Adobe guy's produce, a lot of hardwork deserves a lot of respect - amazed!! Look forward to hearing from anyone that can point me in the right direction! 

Is anyone else seeing strange behavior of Dreamweaver 2021 in iOS 26?  Strange resizing of the app and it constantly requiring an approval for access.    Is there an update coming soon? 

Windows 11In both - local and remote - file lists it's noch possible to switch on futher colums (like size).The headline appears shortly, but disapperars immediately without any visible result.I already tried to move the column-divider (what has helped in former times) - not working. I need urgently to see rechent changes dates.Please help!

Often times when I re-open a php document that has emoji characters inside of it, they turn into non-emoji codes. I've set preferences for new document creation to be UTF-8, and for it to apply to opening existing documents - but it hasn't helped. Anyone have a suggestion? 

Hi there, I've just come back to do some work on my "hobby" website after a few months layoff and now when I save a new Dreamweaver file it does not appear ~ as it used to ~ at the top of my local files folder. Despite not showing at the top it has in fact been saved correctly with my recent updates/changes but I now have to scroll down to the specific page file and then upload it. I have reset the Dreamweaver preferences but the issue remains. Apart from this issue all else appears okay. Any advice appreciated. Kind regards, Garry.

Hi, I might be missing something stupidly obvious here but bold text doesn’t work in this file apart from in one place. I have numerous font styles in the file. These two in the examples I can’t get the bold to work. On the Segoe font bold doesn’t work anywhere on the page and the Baskerville front it only works in one place. Hi,It would seem that this bug has not been fixed yet, there are posts going back several years on the topic. The fault is NOT at my end, it is directly related to Dreamweaver and yes I have tried all of the suggestions in previous threads.Surely it cannot be the case that the solution is to abandon Dreamweaver entirely and revert to a Microsoft product for coding which is free - because it is better? Similarly Filezilla should not be the answer here. I am on version 21.6 build 15711  - rolling back to version 21.2 is not ideal. I have work to do and restarting Dreamweaver EVERY time I change a file and upload to the server is just not great for workflow... This occurs across many files types, does not seem to be localized to images or anything else. Extremely frustrating. Is there a solution in the pipeline? Thanks for your time.
