Files disappear from CC and end up in user trash.

This has been an ongoing issue since 2015. This forum says it's solved, https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services/creative-cloud-moved-almost-5-000-cloud-files-to-the-trash-automatically/m-p/11311806?page=1#M15024

But it is far from solved. I just spent a significant amount of time on the chat feature with a rep. They cannot tell you why it happens. They cannot tell you how to prevent it. Bottom line, CC is unreliable at best when it comes to file storage. You are better off sharing files on Dropbox or Sharefile. This has caused significant downtime and frustration.

This bug/ error has effected my CC files, and my team's CC files, resulting in a loss of valuable work and a significant amount of time spent trying to fix the issue without success. Hopefully, this can be resolved soon.

This exact thing just happened with me. The rep was polite etc, but they literally said:
"It happens during sync sometimes, there is no definite casue for this. "

This issue has caused us a large amount of wasted time and frustration.

Yup - and the fact that it's not easy to permanently delete deleted files out of the deleted folder at assets.adobe.com/deleted.... it's hard to know what to restore even!

This is a dumpster fire of a problem. And considering as you said this has been going on since 2015... they are, apparently, not interested in actually fixing critical workflow destroying problems.

Until/unless they can guarantee these things are actually solved, CC asset storage is just a liability. Which I will be using only a secondary "shared" workspace for redundant copies.

I have ZERO trust any more when it comes to the storage space.
