Have the same data merge option from Indesign

As illustrator has better design features - for being able to create  PDF documents to send to printers or print yourself

For example when doing envelopes that have custom design and only the text changes on each one. 

Yes Illustrator has variables to allow to bring in your data merge CSV but it does not have the feature for exporting the full PDF with ALL the details on it
