I want to have all my files in the cloud but I don't want to sync them all to my desktop computer. I want to be able to sync only the files I need for the projects I'm actively working on.
Please make this happen. I think this is a basic cloud storage function, yet Adobe fails to implement it. I don't need to sync all 100GB to my local drive!
Whenever using a new computer, this auto-sync takes a lot of time. I can cancel it, but it cancel the whole operation, while I only need to sync just a few files. OneDrive or Google Drive can do this and make my work faster for this kind of sync s**t.
It can't be that hard! Christ give me strength! Please Adobe CC, can't you see? We have been begging you on bended knees for years now. BRING – IT – (the f*#k) BACK! We know storage isn't your core business but come on Adobe CC, you're offering Cloud Storage so give us back our local HD space! Are you lazy? Unwilling? Incompetent? All the other kids on the block can do it. You can do it too! You've done it before (see attachment). Go team Ferman! We appreciate your efforts. x
I came here to laugh at the fact this is still not implemented... like everyone else i'm baffled as to how this is not a standard feature for a cloud service!
I'm sick and tired of dragging an external USB drive around because my MacBook Pro can't afford to sync 200 GB. Now the drive broke and I have to purchase a new one just because of this. Adobe should pay for it!
All Adobe can say is "we have this on our backlog of features to implement, and our engineering team is working on it; as soon as we hear from them"... it's just pathetic. They have settled on an annual release of software that nobody has asked for, and as a result the absolute ESSENTIAL features like this are in a backlog. It's just ridiculous. Ridiculous company.
The CC Library and Cloud files synchronize independently. This process is visible when unpausing sync when there are changes to the library. There are some devices with a small hard drive that do not support the entire cloud of files. Let users choose to sync pause, library only, cloud files only, or both. While I prefer selective folder/file sync, the option present in this post is an easy alternative for Adobe developers to deploy.
