I want to have all my files in the cloud but I don't want to sync them all to my desktop computer. I want to be able to sync only the files I need for the projects I'm actively working on.
essential.......a must have ..... selective sync is a necessity for file management across platforms and within cloud space..... I don't want access to all my folders ....I don't want them all to sync to the cloud and I don't want them all accessible to my mobile platforms.... it is a memory hog and not slows things way down.... I have brand new iMac with 2t harddrive and 16GB ram and it is bogging because CC wants to sync all 50,0000 of my current photos.....
i just read through a 2 year thread of people asking for this - why is taking so long? definitely will not be continuing adobe's cloud service. this is nuts.
Come on. I activated CC Cloud Files for a team. We all have desktops/laptops and work on different projects but we all need to access shared assets and job folders.
Selective Syncing is a basic feature that all cloud-based storage providers have. This should have been there from the start.
Seriously Adobe - prioritise this and get it released asap. I can't believe this is on your backlog given the number of people complaining about this. What's more important?
Any updates to adding "Selective Sync" to a 2TB Storage Plan? Not having a "Selective Sync" feature sort of defeats the purpose of a larger storage plan right?
I'm in exactly the same situation as others! My work VDI is entirely clogged due to the fact it cannot match the hard drive space I have on my Mac (where I actually do the creative work). Its sooooo frustrating.
