System feedback on uploading files

The system does not prominently confirm when items are being uploaded - several times this has resulted in me doing multiple uploads of the same item, because the system did not prominently, visually confirm that an upload had been initiated.

    I agree! I have uploaded a file multiple times, because there is no way to tell if a file is actually uploading
