Resolution of new relight feature

Hi Adobe Team,

I have been testing the new "Relight" feature in the Photoshop Beta on professional portrait and full-body fashion photography (shot at 45 megapixels).

While the interface and the preview workflow are great, the final calculated result after clicking "Done" is highly disappointing. There is a massive loss of sharpness and fine detail in critical areas like skin texture, hair, and clothing fabrics. The final output looks muddy and artificially upscaled, making it unusable for professional high-resolution delivery without extensive manual fixing (masking, high-pass filtering, etc.).

Given this significant drop in image quality, charging 30 Generative Credits per final render feels completely unjustified. I understand that server time costs money, but users should not pay a premium price for a low-res AI model that destroys the native quality of our camera gear.

Please consider the following improvements before moving this feature out of Beta:

  1. Increase the native resolution of the underlying AI model to preserve fine details (pores, fabrics, hair, etc.).
  2. Drastically reduce the Generative Credit cost until the output quality matches the input resolution.

Best regards,

Reinhard Becker
