[Suggestion] Substance 3D Assets - Buying Materials/Assets points individually

An idea I had for the Substance Assets (materials and models) is something very akin to what Quixel offers. You can buy the models and materials separately and not need to own the software itself, or you could buy even more assets than the subscription allows.

In essence, being able to purchase materials and models separately using a points system per asset/model would be amazing and allow for more flexible use of the asset library. In addition, those that want to support the creation of assets from Adobe would be able to do so.

And also I really appreciate the insight for this though, and I will give this a try too! 🙂

Gotcha, i appreciate your response. Currently it feels like I have to buy the subscription end just to get access to the assets - although I would love to buy like hundreds of credits on its own without having to wait for another month to get more credits if that makes sense.

Are there any plans to allow purchasing of assets in the near future? It'd provide some awesome flexibility for creators looking to really level up their surfacing work, especially as they get started, it would take a year to get an extensive amount of substance assets but only a couple of months or less of actual work to actually end up needing all of them.

Hi @RenderMan1 , it is currently not possible to buy the assets or the credits for the assets individually from the software licenses, but you can purchase a month and get a set of 30 materials (texturing)/50 assets (collection) depending on your needs, and after 14 days cancel it. As an individual you would keep all the unused download points, and would be able to use them later as you need them later
