Individual component management in an assembly

Could it be possible to manage component selection for material asignment or visibilty when dealing with assemblies?

when opening some Steps or other Cad files you may open an assembly (e.g. with multiple components), and Substance Viewer detect only "one mesh".
Even if there is not any possibility to move components, it could be nice to be able to hide/show those components individually...

But at least, and it's nice, even if there is only one mesh, different materials can be assigned to each object...

It is planned for Substance 3D Viewer to be able to manage visibility of objects and materials.  This is planned, but not yet in development.

Hello,

No, I don't need to go as deeply in the shape, not at the polygon level.
I was only speaking about the visibility of object in the scene like this:
what about if I want to hide the upper cover of this box...

Hello, do you mean like Painter? Where it's possible to "play" with polygons one by one or a selection or a part of the model?
