issues with IGES assemblies

Hi,

Is it possible to open multiple parts at once?

For example sometimes, IGES assemblies comes in multiple files (depending of the option selected in the native CAD).

you get a file for the main assembly with no parts, and one for each individual part...

By default, Substance 3D Viewer open only one file at a time. could it be possible when using the option Openfolder to load all the files at once? so in this case we could get all the parts visible at once.

Many thanks

Hello,

Thanks for the feed back,

it should be great to be able to import multiple parts at a time.

Many Thanks

Current support for CAD is for part files. Assemblies often have references to those part files. Would recommend importing in your creation tool of choice and exporting a new combined assembly file.
You can open a folder in the Substance 3D Viewer and browse all the files there, so you can sort through all individual part files if they are there.
At the moment the viewer is focused on single 3D model file. We are working on multi-object workflows for a future update.
