'A' key tool from Premiere (selects everything ahead of cursor)

So helpful when editing to be able to select all clips ahead (or behind) or cursor. Use it so much in Premiere. Why not in Audition?

Hi @rileym56606376 — just following up on SteveG_AudioMasters_'s answer above, which is spot on: the select-ahead/behind commands are already in Audition, they're just not preset by default. As he said, you can assign them in Keyboard Shortcuts by searching for 'select clips' and giving them spare keys.

Did that give you the Premiere-style behaviour you were after? If you can't find the commands there, let us know your Audition version and whether you're working in the Multitrack editor, and we can take another look.

You can set keystrokes for both of these in Keyboard Shortcuts. If you search using the term ‘select clips’ and scroll down the list, you’ll find them, and a lot more similar options too. So they are there - just not as preset defaults, and you can set them to spare keys.
