An optional 3 second countdown timer after you click the record button

To create a news recording I hit the record button. A window pops up to enter the file name. When you click OK the recording start immediately. A countdown timer would allow time to inhale and prepare for recording.

      Did you ever get a response back on this one?  I started using Audition 2024 yesterday and was really surprised after I filled the "New Audio File" screen out and hit enter, it automatically started recording.  I have used Audition CS6 for years and after I created a "New Audio file" I had the option to start recording when I was ready.....BTW, I'm recording in the waveform view as I use it for tape and vinyl restoration.  Thank you.
