Audition 25 ruler won't snap - error? Help

Hello everyone!

HOW do I increase the tempo and have the bars auto-adjust to match?

I have a song that increases in tempo as we play it.

I was shocked to discover that Audition doesn't (?) have a tempo track that can be adjusted incrementally (i.e. per bar, or over time, or exponentially) to exact BPM's  to speed up a song and the bars auto-adjust to match.

Or... does it?

This will be important for a metronome / click track to record to. It needs to speed up precisely.

And also for editing to match each bar exactly.

Recording a tempo beat elsewhere and drop it in as an audio track doesn't really work, because then editing across multiple tracks is less precise (if at all). Plus, then we can't track exact BPM per bar.

Can someone show me *exactly* how to overcome this?

(my god who'd a thunk garageband would outbeat Audition in this way. Sheesh.).

***Note to Audition creators / feature request: make an adjustable-over-time tempo track with matching metronome feature!

Thanks!

Basically, as you've observed, it doesn't do this at all, and it's been a bone of some contention for years. So, I've taken the liberty of moving this to Ideas.
