Audition - Feature Request – Sync Effects, Presets & Application Settings in CC across Machines

FEATURE REQUEST: AUTO-SYNC ALL AUDITION APPLICATION SETTINGS AND CUSTOMIZATION IN THE CLOUD

This feature, or lackthereof, is a sticking point for any non-linear editing application using any media. When an editor or designer customizes the app the make it work as an efficient professional tool, the work that goes into those customizations can represent years of experience. Decades! Cloud syncing without personally customized features is a total waste of the user's time and an affront to the way most people work.

It's true that different apps have different ways of maintaining, accessing, and saving these settings. But we're in the cloud. This should just be default across apps, including Audition.

A user should never have to think twice about when she opens a project file using her own account on a new or different machine – that her customized version of that cloud-based app will be the same as how she opened it on the last machine. The user experience should be such that if I'm eding a project at a desktop at work, then need to take it on the road and do some more work on a laptop, the miniscule-sized files that save things like: keyboard layouts, custom shortcuts, effects presets, favorites, workspaces, etc. all should come with me. I should never have to remember to pack those up, too.

The concept that I could take a backup of 100 GB of media files and project files and open up a session and all of this stuff is gone seems ludicrous. That would be like logging into your gmail and sending an email from a new computer, but it doesn't know your standard email signature because you're on new machine. This should be a no-brainer aspect of cloud-based NLEs.

Sure, it could give you the option, "I see you're on a new machine, would you like to open this session with the Application Settings you were last using?" But, we, as subscription users of an on-going service, should never have to think twice about this stuff. It's just absolue baseline functionality. I suppose they could be bundled with the project file every time? But they should never be stuck on a local machine if it's a Creative Cloud. Please make this true feature.
