Audition keeps crashing when I try to open the EQ window on a track in mixer view

Same issue, not only with Eq but also with other effects including third party plugins.
Not possible to get a screenshot: Au disappears completely.

I'm running Windows 10 and there are no error messages when it
crashes. It is now crashing sometimes when I try to open an
effects window or an EQ window. The window opens but remains
completely white. It stays like that for about 5 seconds then the
Audition closes completely. When I boot it again it asks if I'd
like to open a crash recovery version.
Very annoying. I have a lot of work through this.

Can you share the OS you're running and any specific details of the crash error message? a screenshot may be helpful. Thanks
