Media Encoder is very slow, and even if it allows lots of usefull features, is mostly a PITB

When editing lots of files comming from different formats in the destructive editor (not a multitrack cession), you need to go fast and choose once an export format and not each time you export it.

It would be much more efficient and easy to set once a format and keep it untill you decide to change it, or to make and select a format preset.

This setting should include : codec, sample rate, bit debth, path, foler and possibly name header and extension.

The complexity and inconsistensy of Audition export settings pannel is a critical bottleneck for sound design as well as teaching.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly. Are you're wishing for export presets?

You can create export presets in Media Encoder, and send your Audition sessions to Media Encoder.
