How about a light user interface for people who are not Goth fans?

For those of us who work in bright rooms all of the current interface display settings are so dark that it is very (very) hard to use.
There used to be a light interface, when did that get lost?
I know dark is supposedly 'cool' these days - but this too shall pass.

Hi Matt, thanks for the disclaimer 😉
Ha, it's just that - yes - the whole interface is dark. For my daily working on a mac it feels too dark. It needs some light. But (!) It is a very personal thing. I thought: if Photoshop who had a light/grey inert face all these years, then maybe Audition can do the same (but the other way around: diapositive) for me. That's all what i meant. Best!

Disclaimer: I almost never know the level of Audition experience anyone posting to user voice has so I try to point out the obvious stuff as I interpret it. That is why I answered as I did, as this is a public forum and I can use it as a way to try spread some knowledge.

To follow up specifically to your question though, does the current functionality not get bright enough? It has gotten darker over the different version of Audition.

Hi Matt, how kind that you reply:) As for the interface, no, this is not what I mean. I can only refer to the interface of Photoshop. It used to have a bright for me, normal (light greyish) look. Suddenly they offered a dark optional interface.. I don't mind, but i prefer not work daily in a dark mode...
I see my kids do that a lot but i don't think it is okay. So that's why i hoped that Audition would offer a more daily look too. But, i reckon no. Thanks.

Not sure if you are all aware of this, but you can change the UI in the preferences. Look under "Preferences>Appearance>General>Brightness..." slider. The default is set to the darkest setting.
Let us know if this is sufficient.
