is it possible to create an import and export command of all (all) Audition settings ??
Workspace, Keyboard Controls, Favorites, Effects Racks, Various Effect Settings etc ...
and create an automatic backup to disk and cloud of these settings ???

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE, I REPEAT (IT IS NOT POSSIBLE !!!) that in 2020 I have to lose ALL THE SETTINGS, THE PRESETS I HAD (not a few) with a trivial update of the same version from 13.0.2 to version 13.0.4 !!!

Now I'm desperate, I haven't even had time to backup!

Automatic Cloud Sync would be GREAT!
I would also add, for security, the possibility of adding other cloud accounts in addition to the Adobe one (google drive, dropbox, etc ...)
And also Saving to LOCAL computer.
So just to be safe...

I made a backup of the adobe softw folders, so I should feel a little more relaxed. (daily automatic backup)

Absolutely, and this should be implements across ALL the Adobe products. This just happened to me with After Effects. And yes, Peter, making backups is essential, but inside each of the Adobe programs there should be a 1-button backup of all the changes I've made in that program. As it is, I had backed up my AE workspaces (I know this is about Audition, but it's the same issue), but my keyboard shortcuts, render presets and output settings are gone, because THEY all need to be backed up separately.

Wouldn't it be nice if all of your presets, layouts, setting, racks etc, were synced to your cloud account. So if you had to install audition on a new device, it already had all you stuff set up ?

Peter Martel You're right, I was creating new presets and then making a Definitive Backup. I had the good idea to update the software and it canceled me out. Typically the presets are always moved to the new version so I didn't think of doing the preliminary backup. If I knew it would erase everything, it would be my first concern before updating!

I like the idea (Voted yes) but backup, backup and then back up. It is not possible in 2020 to have any excuse not to backup, at least essential information. Drives are cheap as is backup software, even free.
