In Multi-track view, export multiple range markers to new files

As in singletrack editor, I'd like to export multiple marker ranges as their own files and automatically name them the name of the marker. I often complete a radio show in one session and want to export the whole show without having to select an individual marker range and export, wait for it to export, select the next marker etc, etc.

This really needs the be a thing - there is no good reason that range markers should work differently in export capability in the waveform editor vs the multitrack editor - please standardize this workflow throughout, would make specific workflows much better, and I don't want a hack of exporting a mixdown first and then re-doing my markers and then being able to re-export in a batch.

That's a good enough work-around, if in a pinch, but really there shouldn't be a work-around at all. Why is it not possible to export markers from a multitrack directly? This is adding an additional step to, in some cases like podcast editing, an already extensive workflow.

well thanks Durin, I hadn't thought of doing it that way.

Hi, Samuel.

If you create a single mixdown of your multitrack project, the markers you create should show up on the new WAV file. You can then select all those markers in the Markers panel and export them in batch. While this does require the step of creating the mixdown first, it should make for a much quicker experience overall.
