markers on tracks / clips

Maybe it already exists, but I couldn't find it. It would be convenient to be able to make markers not only on the general timeline, but also on individual tracks / clips. As it is implemented in After Effects.

Exactly. Now I looked, it appeared only in the latest version (23.3), and I have version 23.1. Thank you) It's strange that such a simple thing was added only now.

No, nothing needs to be enabled - what version are you using? This is a fairly recent innovation, and you might need to upgrade to the latest version. It looks like this:

In Multitrack, if the cursor is in a highlighted track and you hit F8 or M, you will put a marker within the clip. If no clip is highlighted, then placing a marker will put it on the session timeline.
