hi guys .. my name is dani, i have a beast of a PC with 28 cores to work with and Audition only knows to use one of them, two at best .. my suggestion is to work on multicore usage .. thank you ( btw i have a 150k subscribers youtube channel :D, i have somwhat of a voice) 😄 thank you ..
It's March 2025, and Audition is only utilizing 2 cores of my 16 core/32 thread cpu to rate stretch a long audio clip in "rendered/high quality" mode. Time to step your game up Adobe!
I am upgrading my PC and am also looking at multiple core processors , looking at either the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X or Intel Core i7-13700K for us ewith Audition.. If it's true that Audition doesn't use Multiple Cores what's the point of me spending all this money. Does anyone know if Adone are going to address this issue ? My multiple track Sessions with effects are becoming Laggy thanks
Good lord. lol Out of the dozens of millions of people that use adobe legally, and countless more who use it illegally, your 150k subscribers dont even look like a drop in the bucket. You're a minor social media personality. not a representative of professional adobe users. You're not a voice.
That being said, your about the 50,000th person to say this. Adobe needs to get with it. When i need to wait 25+ seconds every time i make a minor edit in audition, or 3+ minutes to do a larger process, when using all 24 of my cores cut that dow by ~23x, is ridiculous. Multi core processing has been around for 15 years. whats going on in adobe?
While I threw up in my mouth at your last few lines, I can’t help but agree with the meat of what you said. It’s shocking to me how little Audition leverages multicore processors. It’s such a basic concept in modern computing at this point. I’m not rocking your 28-cores — the obvious product of your immense fandom — but my 6-core i7 and 8-core i9 on my 2018 Mac mini and 2019 16th MacBook Pro would be incredibly thankful. The boost to not only the value of those machines, but also the time saved for the purposes of my workflows, would be immense.
