Resizing effects window in Mixer view

Currently it is not possible to resize elements of the UI based on need, as it is in Premiere Pro. Specifically, it would improve my workflow if I had the ability to resize the effects section of the UI when in mixer view.

There's a TON of space dedicated to the faders which is nice but unnecessary for the work that I'm doing. I'd much rather have the option to see 6-8 plugins across all of the tracks instead of the 3 that are visible by default.

Additionally, it would be helpful to be able to expand the Sends section to see 2 or 3 at a time across all tracks. Features like these would be really helpful in my migration from Pro Tools

It has been like this for a long time, and unfortunately it is as designed. It's just not a very convenient or helpful design...

This is a problem NOT ONLY in mixer view, but also in the basic waveform editor!  Fire up any effect and grab the bottom right corner - the actual panel resizes but NONE of the content??  I went to tech support first and after a long bit - they told me this was WORKING AS PER DESIGN... I don't think so - most definitely a bug.

I agree, it would help workflow tremendously. The current workaround is to use the effects rack panel, but it makes copying effects across channels clunky you have to make sure you have the correct track selected. The upside is if you're doing repetitive work (like a podcast recorded in the same location with the same talent) you can save the whole rack as a preset. But I agree. And if you're editing and mixing music, the effects rack panel becomes just as tedious.

Yes, please! I recently started working with a pen and graphic tablet screen, and was a bit shocked that such a seemingly basic feature is missing! The ability to resize certain buttons, tools, and some text elements across the entire creative suite would be a huge boon to working quickly on a high res. screen with tiny-tiny buttons. Fine motor skills for the artistic work; gross motor skills for selecting tools and tapping buttons. Sort of the natural order of things.

I can't believe something like this isn't even possible and I'm the second person to vote for this idea. Even when I minimize the faders, the other items like the effects item still doesn't take up any more screen real estate. Also, I can't seem to make the mixing channels any wider. As a result, I have 3 little tiny rectangle of the 3 tracks I have with 3 effects per track in the top left with the rest of my screen empty, while my whole screen could otherwise be filled up with space for reading the full effect name and a long list of effects. Really disappointing.
