Hello Adobe Community.
I have a request for you or, let's say, a super suggestion. An idea came to me, and i wanted to share it with you because it would be a super convenience for creators who work with photos all the time and are quite busy. My request is that in the Camera Raw section in Photoshop, a window be created where we can search by name for the presets we want to use quickly so that we don't waste time looking for them.

I would be very pleased if my request is considered by you, and I would be even happier if in the next update, you could create a window to search for Presets more easily to save our time. Thank you very much.

Hello Adobe Team,

I would love to also request a preset search feature in Adobe Camera Raw within Photoshop.

The ability to search presets inside the preset panel would make a major difference in workflow efficiency. When working with large preset collections, it can take a significant amount of time to scroll through multiple preset groups just to find one specific preset. This becomes even more frustrating when presets appear under unexpected sections, such as User Presets, or when the preset names do not clearly match the preset collection or group they belong to.

A search bar or dedicated searchable preset window would be incredibly helpful. Ideally, users could search by preset name, preset type, or preset group/collection. This would make navigating large preset libraries much faster and more intuitive.

It would also be helpful to include options such as color coding, labels, filtering, or favorites for better organization. While favorites can help, they can still become time-consuming to sort through when trying to locate a specific preset quickly.

This feature would save valuable time for photographers and editors who rely on presets every day. A searchable and better-organized preset panel would make Camera Raw more efficient, user-friendly, and far less frustrating during editing.

Suggested improvements:

  • Add a searchable preset panel, search bar, or filter tool within Camera Raw
  • Allow users to search by preset name, type, and group/collection
  • Add color coding or labels for easier organization
  • Improve filtering and favorites for quicker access

Why this matters:

For photographers and editors, speed matters. Manually searching through preset folders slows down the editing process and interrupts workflow. Better search and organization tools would make preset management faster, smoother, and more practical.

Thank you for considering this feature request. I believe it would be a valuable improvement for many Photoshop and Camera Raw users.

Sincerely,
Taylor A

Voting for this. A searchable preset panel in Camera Raw would be a huge workflow improvement. It takes too long to hunt through multiple preset groups, especially when presets sometimes land under User Presets. Searching by preset name, type, or collection would save a lot of time.

Hi, Ibrahim, I moved and retitled your idea in the correct location. I see that Rikk further fine-tuned the title.
