P: Add gamma slider

One of the most incredible photography editing features I’ve run into is the gamma slider in DxO PhotoLab.

Once I realized what it did, translate the entire curve of light seamlessly, without stops and starts like the regular tone curve in Lightroom, the gamma curve quickly became my most critical and helpful adjustment in the most difficult lighting conditions at first, and then in every possible photograph. It’s so much more repeatable, natural-looking, and consistent than anything I have ever been able to do with the tone curve.

I considered switching fully to their software, but of course, all the other features I rely on like subject masks, HDR AVIF export, etc., kept me with Lightroom.

Please, please, one million, billion times, please add a gamma curve slider in Lightroom, and maybe you can make it even better than any other software’s implementation, as long as the crucial core concept remains the same.

Thank you!

Sincerely,
