P: Brush, Clone, and Heal brush shape options (squares and/or rectangles)

I'd like to see different shape options for the Adjustment Brush and Clone/Heal tools. Circles don't work to well on linear objects. I'd like to see squares. If it doesn't require a great deal of additional code-writing, I'd like to be able to rotate and change the size of the square brush. Just a thought.Jimwww.JMartinHarris.com

When trying to create masks, I've struggled with filling in corners the way I intended. So I was wondering if it's at all feasible for a feature to be introduced that allows selection in square shape rather than a circle. Maybe this is already a feature, if so, an explanation of how to get there would be great. Thank you

Hello, I thik that would be great if it would be possible to make square or (even better) pen-like masking in lightroom classic. This will be wonderful for masking i.e. the windows for interior photography or for geometrical shapes in the picture!

I would really love it if Lightroom Classic could offer the option of a square shaped heal tool to edit out things next to a straight line, as the round one doesn't cut it for this purpose! Thanks.

The brush tool and spot removal tool are surely the most used tools
in Lightroom for fine tune editing. Can developers add a feature that allows us to right
click and change the shape of the brush or spot removal tool, similar
to Photoshop's Marquee selection tool?

Square Brush Tool & a Square Spot Removal Tool: Would be great for selecting right angles, acute angles or straight edges.
Line
Brush Tool & a Line Spot Removal Tool: Would be great for drawing
point A to point B lines, allowing us to highlight perfectly straight
lines.
(ATTN: I did learn you can hold shift to draw a straight line, but my idea still stands)

In addition to the round adjustment brush, create a square/rectangular one

Hi there, Just wondering if there are plans for a square brush in Lightroom? I do a lot of Architectural photography where everything is linear. I often have to use the adjustment brush on windows, a square brush would make it much simpler. Thanks.

I agree that the option of a square brush shape for all of Lightroom's brushes would be fantastic and is really needed!

Please consider adding an adjustment brush tool option to change the shape of the selected area from round to square.

I edit a lot of architectural photos. One of the main focuses is straight lines. This creates many instances of squared areas, where a 90 degree intersection exists (a window for instance), that need to be selected for adjustment. It would be extremely helpful to have the option of a square adjustment brush. Currently the workflow in editing these areas include first selecting a general area with a wide brush and then reducing the round brush size and selecting smaller parts of the area. Rinse and repeat until I get the squared area fully selected. Trying to fit a round peg into a square hole. If you take time to cut enough of it off, it will eventually fit. Obviously it can be accomplished with the current round brush, but it takes more time than it should or would with a square option.

I guess I should have specified LR3. I thought I was directed to the LR specific forum.
