P: Confirmation request after pressing ESC in ACR

It would be good to have an "are you sureyou want to dismiss" request after pressing ESC in ACR. I have occasionally pressed it by accident and it dismisses ACR instantly which can result in hours of lost work. It would be good to demand a confirmation to save us from our own finger trouble!

Thank you very much. That did it. Greatly appreciated.

I believe you only get the Cancel all changes and dismiss Camera Raw dialog when pressing the Cancel button or Esc key if you actually did some editing to the image.

If you just open a Camera Raw file, then press either Cancel or Esc you won't get the Cancel all changes and dismiss Camera Raw dialog because you didn't change any settings.

I would reset the Camera Raw preferences to get the Cancel all changes and dismiss Camera Raw dialog back

I cannot find anywhere in any preferences or settings in Bridge, ACR or Photoshop to switch on that preference! Very strange.

oooops, I meant "I get the same pop up when I press Cancel Escape, so it's just a settings issue"

I am on the latest version but as I said it's not the cancel button I am talking about. It is accidentally hitting the keyboard ESC key that causes instant dismissal of the dialogue with no request for confirmation. I am asking for a confirmation request.

I get the same pop up when I press Cancel, so it's just a settings issue

find this setting or install the latest version and the problem should be gone

Actually I don't even get that if I prss canel in ACR so I am not sure where I would find that to swith even that on although as I said I am not actually talking about the cancel button in the ACR window.

That's cancelling from the ACR window. That's not what I am talking about. I am talking about accidentally hitting the ESC key on the keyboard which instantly dismisses ACR without any secondary dialogue such as the one you screenshotted.
