P: "Fit in View" after Crop in Camera Raw

Camera Raw 18.4 should include a preference to return automatically to "Fit in View" after crop operations. Earlier workflows were faster because the image always returned to the full-screen view after validating a crop. Please add a user preference to choose between preserving zoom level and returning to Fit in View.

not fixed in 18.6. What the hell are you playing at? I can only assume this has crept in as a side-effect of the generative extend functionality. Nobody asked for that, either.

One more vote for bringing back the automatic/default “Fit in View” after a crop operation. Getting rid of it is adding hundreds of extra clicks per day during processing. Why, Adobe?!?!? PLEASE BRING THIS OPTION BACK

Staying on version 18.3 until this is fixed, BIG mistake Adobe!

Absolutely agree with all , this is adding literally hundreds of extra steps per day to my workflow , what was the point of changing it , it was not broken

Agree. This new “Fit” feature is a real pain. The only work around I found is to do cmd- to shrink the view back down, but I don’t need more steps when editing. Please give us the option to have the old version back.

You are slowing down my workflow. Nothing will drive me to another product more than doing this will. Please fix, with some urgency

Agreed, frustrating change with no perceivable benefit. Need to ‘fit’ after crop so we can see how the new framing looks when shown at appropriate size.

These “upgrades” seem to degrade ACR even further. Is there anyway to know if Adobe has fixed this in 18.4.2 etc? I’m now looking at some trainees edits and getting a message “This was edited in a newer version of Camera Raw so some edits my not blah blah” I don’t want them to update to this buggy crop version nor do I want to get away from my backdated 18.3.1. Why would I see this message and why wouldn’t masks or removals translate for a recent older version of ACR? I can’t tell what is not translating. Annoying. Please fix.
