P: More Export Formats Besides Jpg of edited photos!

First off I love Lightroom in all iterations: cc classic and mobile. Now that I do a vast majority of my photography on mobile, The limitation of exporting only unedited originals as DNG is a downer. I edit a large portion of my photos in LR mobile and I’m stuck with a not so awesome JPEG as my only export format. DNG or PNG would be fantastic as it preserves the original oomph of the raw capture and allows for higher quality edits in other apps/programs. (I know HEIC is in the works). Greatly appreciated!

Where is this request at? Would be great if this could be developed since there’s no full LR version available for iPad Pro.

In previous posts I mentioned it was a hack and we need to get further on the file produced. It was just an idea I had to try help people with a hack that way work until sorted.

Ok but a question arises here : since lightroom mobile only exports as jpeg, how do we know that the image sent to FIX is not a jpeg ? It’s not because FIX saves as a PNG that the received image isn’t a jpeg in the first place, I think that has to be verified first.
But all in all even if this tweak works, this is totally unprofessional and a disgrace for adobe to have such low standards (maybe commercially on purpose which is even worse).
Even google’s snapseed offers a few export options and it’s free ! Makes me think that Lightroom mobile is no better in the end than the iOS photo correction app, except for the fact that one is free and the other isn’t.

Firstly make sure you have downloaded the free adobe FIX app. Select the image you would like to convert, select the share icon and choose edit in. Then choose Either liquify or healing option with FIX, doesn’t matter. Choose high quality and it will open in FIX. Don’t do anything to the image, just hit the save back button bar. It now saves back into lightroom next to the original file. It is a uncompressed PNG. Select it and go again to the share icon, you’ll see export original. Choose destination and there you go. Including rendering, it’s about a 45 to 60 second process. Also depending on ipad specs.
