How can I create a vignette where the centre of the brightest part of the image is not in the centre of the frame?

This tool is already existing. You can do that with the radial filter.

Consider using radial gradient in Lr5.

A tool to set the midpoint of the vignette would be a great enhancement in ACR.

I believe there should be ability to set the center of vignetting, because very often the main object isn't in the real center of the frame and a little shifting could be very useful while using vignetting

Add rectangular and circular vector masks to Lightroom - a fast way to make non-centered vignettes.

Thank You for the direction Jeffrey, I did do a search but this topic was not one of the results found.
More importantly, it seems that I am not the only one with this idea, so Please pass this on to the development team. Perhaps it's not too late for the feature to show up in LR4 !!!!

Please do a search for existing Ideas. Also, it's better to break out each 'Idea' as a separate topic for users to comment/vote ont. I've added your vote here for off center vignettes. Thanks.

Can future versions of Lightroom allow for more options in the Vignette tools? Specifically I would like to be able to change the shape of vignettes (ie transform) and centering (off-centered axis) as well as have more options with the style of a vignette (focus, color, saturation, etc) It would also be nice to have a similar Vignetting tool in Photoshop to work on exiting images rather than having to re import an image to Lightroom just for a last minute Vignette

Feature Request: I would like to see a functionality as in Silver FX Pro: Just click in the image to define the centre of the vignette!

I'd love to see post-crop vignettes handled as pins, so I could drop a couple of them down...
