I have an Adobe account.   Make a portion of the account available for me to input the type or types of cameras I have.    Currently I have a Nikon Z7 but Adobe BURDENS my pc with information on EVERY camera produced, together with EVERY lens imaginable, all except Nikon Z lenses.

Allow me to register my camera model into my account and only send me data that addresses that particular camera.    My computer should run much faster?   "Camera Profiles" = 700mb of data.   "Lens Profiles" = 400mb.

The same is true under LR Classic "Resources."

    I don't think this would have any effect whatsoever on computer performance (unless you're really low on space, in which case you'd need to clear out a lot more). 1100 MB is not a lot, it's the equivalent of about 25 raw files from my 50 MP camera.

    I also doubt that Adobe would be interested in serving customized downloads to users, but you are of course free to ask.
