P: Selective application of chromatic aberration

When we edit i camera raw we can select subject, sky and background to name a few masking options. 
i was out last saturday taking photos in a pine forrest with mist. I got green chromatic aboration amongst the branches which had the white mist background but when removing it it also effected the green growth on the ground such as blueberry bushes. The masking tool is very intelligent these days and it would be great if we could be more selective on where to remove chromatic aboration rather then just a global removal tool.

Defringing (green/purple) is an option with the brush tool if that is what you are referring to.
