P: Streamline ACR interface to reduce wasted space

There is a huge amount of wasted space in the current ACR interface-- rating, zoom etc. buttons should be merged with the bottom bar (see pic, red circled areas moved to green circles).  The bottom bar is also about 3x too tall and should be shrunk.

This would give more space to actially look at the photo being edited, instead of having all the wasted blank space that is currently in the interface.

It's almost as if ACR 12.1 version was vastly superior in layout, functionality and speed xd

Is that resolution still widely used?

I will not answer with assumptions about what 'widely used' implies.

Adobe accepts it as their minimum display resolution for Adobe Camera Raw, and if you feel that's not appropriate for them to do so, file a feature request.

Well that example does appear to have a huge amount of UI Space wasted, or is that not your example?

The minimum display resolution for Adobe Camera Raw is 1024x768.

When at that size, there isn’t a ‘huge amount of space wasted,” which differs too, based upon the preview mode as shown below.

so true... waste a lot and then useful buttons disappear

when I was in college - we had to disassemble TurboPascal and then comment each line in that listing , that was a .com (<= 64Kb binary) DOS program ( combining compliler, debugger, editor, etc all in one ) to learn how to code ...

The entire top bar with file name could also fit in the lower portion as well.
