P: Support for Canon .CR3 Camera-matching Profiles

Hello! Can you please tell me what's going on with the camera profiles in Lightroom for Canon? I had a huge unpleasant surprise discovering that my new Canon R6 has no profiles in LR yet. And seeing that all Canon cameras in the last year have no profile... wow... this is a huge dissapointment, my whole workflow is based on camera profile for my Canon cameras. And all my cameras now are R6s and no profile in LR. I understand it's both a problem with Canon and Adobe, but can you please tell me when do you think it will be solved? The camera profiles was the main reason I've never switched form Lightroom to Capture1 or Afinity. Please don't make me leave you and add the camera profiles as soon as possible. Thank you!

Hi Guy'y it really is about time the Canon 1DX mk iii camera profiles are available! This body was launched nearly 12 months ago now? Please, it is extremely frustrating and causing problems with my workflow

Thanks for the tip. I wrote them and they answered they are not planning to release profiles for the 250D.

Thank you, Victoria. Yes I was talking about the camera matching profiles and yes the Canon 90d uses the CR3 format. 

Just to clarify, are you talking about Camera Matching profiles, like Camera Standard etc.? 

Am I right in thinking that the 90D uses Canon's newer CR3 format? While I don't have a file to test, there is an issue producing camera matching profiles for this new format. Not appearing where? Check the Adobe list (next post), they are definitely available. What version of LrC are you checking in? And these are for raw files?

Not appearing for the 90d. Only for 70d, 77d and older etc

They have been available since LrC 8.4, Lr 2.4 and Camera Raw 11.4.
