P: x64 support for DNG codec

I'd love to have an Adobe supplied codec for x64 Windows that lets me look at DNGs in Explorer. Having to pay a third party for what is supposed to be the new open image standard seems wrong to me.

No kidding. It is high time though. Most people in this field needs lots of ram and this means x64. It is just not that hard to port the codec to 64 bit relative to say porting _ALL_ of the rest of LR over., There is no excuse any longer to have it come from Adobe.

I am wondering why most first party companies are not providing a 64 bits codec, and let third party software writers occupy that market.
Last time I checked, neither Nikon nor Canon had 64 bits codecs...
And I do not say that to defend Adobe, I am wondering why most big companies do not do it, if small ones are able to produce working codecs.
