add ability to copy and paste fill layers/layers across multiple SP instances

alot of times I want to take the same material with all layers from a SP file to another.
to currently do this which takes time is I create a smart material of the selected layers, save it to my library. then put in the other file.
instead i want to be able to copy/paste any sort of layer across multiple running instances of SP. will help save time drastically

would be great if the Dev team can consider implimenting this feature in upcoming updates. would be fantastic!

Thanks for the suggestion.

 

Currently, this is indeed not possible to copy paste Layers through .SPP, but you can (as you mentioned) create smart materials or material presets (RMB in the properties window > Create Material preset).
