Paths as flowmap/ directional input

With the addition of paths inside of substance painter it would be awesome if we could leverage that data for directional input\flowmap.

You could interpolate the directions in between the curves and drive tileable patterns in SP or export it as an actual flowmap.

Hello Leslie,

 

This would be a nice feature indeed. We currently don't have any plan on this regard that I know of, but you can check this Flow Map painting with Substance Painter workflow, which should work properly with our new Path tool.

 

 

That being said, it' important to note that multiple bugs are already reported when using this specific workflow, but I personally didn't face any when using the Path tool.
