Way to warp textures in the 2D view

Similar to the new warp tool in the 3d view it would be super effective to have a way to do that in the 2d view, similar to what photoshop does. I find myself switching over to photoshop to do this currently for clothing seams when I want things to ride along the edge of a uv island. I feel like the tools are already there they could just be added to the 2d view. I'm assuming its not that simple but really think this would be a very solid tool.

I hope to think more about this function , add warp transform to the substance painter in the 2D view

thank you for your reply
I mean add a warp transform, there is also this function in the substance sample.
If it can be added to substance paint, the efficiency can be greatly improved.

Hi @lx223033998b0r,

Are you referring to the new path tool? This is indeed not that simple, the tool heavily relies on functionalities from the 3D view.

With that being said, this doesn't imply we are uninterested in integrating it for the 2D view, but I have currently nothing to share on this regard.

Best regards,
