I would like to be able to bend linear gradients.

Not a complex shape or sine wave, just a simple curving of the line by “pulling” on it.  It is not always easy to do with radial gradient. This would be a simple, fast option.

      Historically the Radial gradient was the way to achieve a curved Linear gradient. The suggested idea is interesting.
