Ignore update AI settings

Ignore update ai settings not available on Lightroom always forcing to update ai setting when it is not required or wanted.

For example if a remove tool edit is made on an area after an ai mask , then it generates the update ai

  • When copying/pasting any AI driven masks (Select Subject, Sky, Background, Objects, and People) and or by loading that image’s XMP sidecar file or preset / settings on the same image, the masks should not be  recomputed automatically or generate an update ai setting.

I’m not sure I understand your request. Copying/pasting an AI driven mask always requires a calculation of that mask. AFAIK, you only copy/paste the mask command, not the rendered mask itself. And even if you did paste the rendered mask, then it would still need to be re-rendered because the sky/subject, etc in the target image will normally be different from the source image.

I think the key phrase here may have been “on the same image”.

In truth, when one clones within an image that tends to invalidate previously-made AI masks (or may do so for other kinds of mask, though then any update would need to be manual): They will now not match up to the (meanwhile effectively altered) picture content. Just the same, as if reused onto some different photo entirely.

As to copy-pasting masks between two treatments of the same image - whether referring to separate source files (e.g. one being a PS edited version), or whether referring to the same source file but in a separately edited virtual copy - again, these are two independent images to all practical effects - not one.

It’s clearer to see how when one copy-pastes a brushed mask between images / virtual copies, two independently remembered  brushed mask extents must now be stored instead of just one. Sharing continued use of that same single mask across both images would not make practical sense IMO.
