P: Ability to set a default Radial and Gradient tool preset

I use the Linear Gradient Tool and the Radial Gradient Tool all the time in Lightroom but I have quite different default preset for each tool. Would it be possible for Adobe to implement the ability to have a different default preset for each tool?

Thanks for sharing the detailed workflow use case. I will create a feature request for further discussion with team.

Typically my Linear Gradient default setting is -0.75 Exposure and -100 Highlights. This I have set as my go to default Preset to make areas darker. Whereas my go to Radial Gradient default is quite the opposite as my preferred choice for this tool is to be +1.00 Exposure, Feather on 100 and always always with the Invert box ticked to make areas lighter and more colourful.

So what I would like is to have Default preference for each tool that are independent of each other to save myself a lot of clicking to make my desired settings selecting so I don't even have to choose a preset from my dropdown.

BTW, I notice that I can't save even save a preset for a Radial Gradient with Invert selected nor indeed the Feather set to 100, I always have to make those alterations every time.

It doesn't seem to me to be a difficult task to implement this into the next LR update and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would use this feature.

Thanks for reporting your concern. Can you share an example of workflow/usecase where different default presets is beneficial?
