P: Ability to set the default value of the Denoise slider

Hi. I'm loving the new Denoise feature of LR. It really is superb and love the fact that it no longer creates a new file etc. However, the default setting of 50 denoise is a little bit over the top for my personal liking. I find it creates an image that looks overly softened. So I always go in and change it to 30 as my preferred setting.

That's fine. Except that takes extra steps to achieve. It would be wonderful if in a future release the Default level could be set by the user. So for me, everytime I clicked the Denoise option it set to 30 as my default.

Thank you

Unless you already have import/develop presets and then its a PITA to do this.

Also, in Camera RAW, preset levels are shown but not actually applied when you load files.

The easy solution is to create a preset that applies Denoise at value 30, then apply that preset.

Already bugged. Unfortunately the new Denoise UI has some problems, hopefully this is overhauled with new app releases that will come out at Adobe MAX (end of October.)
