P: Ability to sync Smart Collections with Ecosystem Clients

I have removed the LR mobile app from all of my devices. Without this feature, LR mobile is useless to me. I want to take photographs, not sit around on my bum managing 'dumb' collections so they'll be available on my mobile devices.

Or Adobe could understand that users might *want* the ability to edit collections out and about. The photo is still on the computer, just not in the collection so accidental changes aren't a huge issue. Its very easy to accidentally change ratings on the computer as well - one keypress only, but that is not an argument for not supporting ratings...

This feature would be HUGE in automating updates and additions to a mobile portfolio. Lightroom workflow would surely benefit from this functionality.

Just signed up for Lightroom CC and the first feature I tried to do is to sync my smart collection.. Only to find out we can't. And it's been 1 year since people asked for this!

Like what others have suggested, a simple undo button will fix the problem of disappearing photo from collection by unflag.

Tom Hogarty from Adobe, please let us know if this is going to be fixed, otherwise I'm going to cancel my subscription and request for a refund.

Agree with Brian here, and disagree with Mike. Aperture has had this feature for years so it is both technically possible and usable for the customer.

The synced collection on mobile could be made read-only -- problem solved.

Would it be possible to add the "Sync with Lightroom mobile" option to Smart Collections as well? I'd very, very happy to be able to edit the photographs from, say, the last week or two with my iPad and the collection would always be up to date.

Adobe; it seems the People have spoken! We want to sync smart Collections and we are not mindless Creatures that does not understand the implications of doing changes to Your smart Collection on the fly.

And in the case of an accidental swipe... the world won't stop.

I would like to sync a smart collection between LR Desktop and LR for mobile. That's not possible for the moment. Will this feature be included in the next update?

Yes, being able to sync Smart Collections as well would be awesome! I don't see the "accidental remove" as a problem, as others have pointed out it is not lost - and you can do the same mistake on desktop as well. Actually, I'd expect it to be removed if I changed something so it no longer match the smart rules for the collection - same functionality as on desktop. (There are other mistakes you can do even now, like setting the Rejected flag on a photo - which could lead to it being deleted physically if you delete rejected on desktop later on). So Adobe, pretty please implement this.
