P: Ability to sync video from Lightroom Classic to Lightroom Ecosystem

It would be a really cool feature to be able to sync video films from Desktop Lightroom to Mobile Lightroom rather than just the other way round. We use Lightroom Mobile to present image media to clients but have to switch from Mobile Lightroom to another programme when we move the presentation from 'stills' to the 'motion'.

I was trying to switch to Lightroom and this limitation stopped me. I import photos and videos via Lightroom Classic (because Lightroom CC is too crippled), sync the import to the Creative Cloud, and photos sync but videos do not. If I import with Lightroom CC in the first place, videos sync too. This is simply ridiculous. Please fix it! Not migrating to Lightroom until it's addressed.

Ok, now this:
I’ve imported my files on mobile, Raws and rush. As LR can’t color grade videos, I’ve done it on my computer and imported it back in LR Classic, where I keep all my media.
Now I want to share the results with my clients and cannot share the video. Great!

Adobe is really treating it’s clients as shit!

I also find the lack of video support frustrating.  I take photos and video with my SLR.  I use lightroom cc desktop on my mac.  Things I want to share are synced to lightroom CC mobile and I can allow others to view / download pictures they like.  This is great.  Unfortunately video doesn't sync at all -- I have to add manually to the library BUT even so, others cannot download video from a mobile device.  I often share libraries with others and would love it if video was better supported.  PLEASE add this functionality.

Different request to original thread (which was on the topic of uploading videos from Classic to the cloud)

Ah, gotcha. So you're wanting to save to the camera roll or share to an external app. I'll split this out into a separate thread, as this one's more focused on uploading from Lightroom Classic.

One workaround right now might be to add the video to an album that you can share, and send the link to the album by text/email. That would allow the recipient to view and even download the video without it filling up anyone's email inbox too.

I don't think you read that right. I am aware you can upload video to the cloud from an iPad.

I want to be able to download the video back to my iPad so that I can share via text email etc.

There is a feature to share photos back to your device but currently Adobe greys out the share button for sharing videos.

This is ridiculous. I want access to my videos. I feel like Adobe is holding my videos hostage.

Lightroom CC can and does upload videos to the cloud, making them available on your iPad Pro. Perhaps you mean Lightroom Classic? Where are you trying to upload them from?

Why can I not still share videos from Lightroom CC back to my iPad Pro? This is ridiculous, I have brought this up any times before. Why can I share photos but not videos.

I ONLY use an iPad, does anyone have any suggestions for how I get my videos back onto my device? Is there a work around?

Also Adobe needs to add in this ability asap.
