P: Adding graphical identity plate to preferences

While waiting for Adobe to maybe implement this, you could create a new empty catalog with all the catalog-specific settings set the way you like (e.g. the identity plate).  This becomes the template for making new catalogs. To make a new catalog, copy the template catalog folder and rename the new folder and the .lrcat file inside the folder to the desired new name
